If you can get the buy one bottle get one free offer in the shops use the free one you cant get cheaper than that beat that Mr. Booth.
When filling bags with crumb add a crumbed pop up. this will rise to surface imitating rising naturals and disperse bag contents.
When filling PVA bags stick a boillie in each corner of the bag then snip the corners off, this lets the air out quicker with no loss of bag contents.
For speed make up your stocking bags at home, at the bank hook em and chuk em no effin about. If you use oily pellets (salmon) the PVA absorbs the oil and lasts a tad longer in the water, they explode after 5 foot otherwise.
Balanced baits
When fishing critically balanced baits over light weed or decaying matter or where you might need to move the lead after casting to feel the bottom try this little trick.
Critically balance your bait as per normal and then remove the smallest piece of putty possible so that the bait just floats off the lead and then cast out. You will then be fishing a pop up off the lead for a short period of time until the bait soaks up enough water when it will sink slowly and come to rest gently on top of the weed or debris. Also saves a fortune on dissolving foam.
Strawberry cheese
If you buy some "craisy baits strawberry spray" and spray it on some chopped up cheese the night before you go fishing the carp go mad for it. The cheese also softens so that it is perfect for hooking.
