Norwich Is Auction Mad
Norwich has been named Britain's top eBay town for the second year in a row.
Nearly two thirds of the city's residents are registered users of the site - up 44% on last year.
A spokesman for the auction website said the figures reflect a national rise in the number of people buying and selling items on the site.
And the announcement follows a television advertising campaign and overall increase in online retail in the UK.
Wigan had the biggest increase in registered users compared to last year at 57%, followed by Sunderland at 56% and Bolton at 54%.
EBay spokesman Charlie Coney said: "People no longer think of using eBay just for the collectable or alternative items. It is a great place to go for everything that you might want to buy or sell."
